A Steak Dinner

Dad made steak, Wendy made the side dishes. Yummy! I haven't eaten such a delicious meal in a long time. (Sorry Mom, but all those experimental Weight Watchers dinners don't sit well with me). It was so nice to have food all prepared and have it taste so good!

Erich drove me over to Dad's. It was the first time I was in his new car (well, new to him). It's a nice vehicle. Nice tires, comfy seats, good handling. All around, good car.

After dinner, we all watched Planet of the Apes on DVD. That movie was awesome! I have never seen the original or anything, but I knew the concept. I think I was really impressed, although it wasn't a traditional Tim Burton film. The former Disney man didn't follow his classic brooding, dark theme this time, but that didn't make the movie any less interesting.

Then, after The Apes, we watched KingPin, starring Woody Harrelson and Randy Quaid. I haven't seen that movie in awhile. It's funny. I was in the right mood for it, so it was funnier than I remembered it! :)

After the movies, Erich went to his room and I followed. He showed me a few games that he's gotten since I've last visited. I must admit that I miss playing new games, but since my computer isn't even close to being advanced enough to play NEW games, I shouldn't complain. It was fun to watch him play. Someday...

When I finally got home at 4 am, Maxine almost forgot who I was. (Okay. That lasted about 3 minutes, then she wanted to desperately be petted). It's nice to know I'm loved... even if it is by a fluffy psuedo-bipolar cat.
