Today, we were just settling her in a bit, when she wanted to get on the DDR pad and play! She didn't want me to watch, but I ended up peeking just to see how she was doing. She got a double digit combo and I was really amazed and proud of her.

She wanted to play immediately again. I set it up, and away she went. She ended up playing two sets of songs. (I have my memory card set up for 4 songs/set). I had been playing beginner mode songs to find some songs that don't have jumps.

So, low and behold, after she finishes playing, she says that Ryan and I can get married now.

WHAT?! Where did that come from?

She explains. Ryan and I had mentioned, that if we were to get married, we would make everyone play DDR at our wedding. Mom said that Dad played in Appleton, and Erich has played several times, and now she has too, so at least my side of the family says it's okay for Ryan and myself to get married!

What a goof!

It's good to have Mom around again. :)
