I think that ever since I have posted my stats and interests, likes, dislikes, etc, I have attracted every guy in a 200 mile radius. I didn't think I was that likeable. But then I thought back to the beginning of all my new friendships that led to relationships and they all thought I was a blast to be around. Then they got to know me better and I pushed them away cause that's what I do... I don't know why, but I do. And then they blame themselves for screwing up the relationship when it's really just me. Then I get sad and clingy and just become a mess. So in the end, what I'm trying to say is that it's fun to meet me at first and none of the guys know what they are getting into because I don't let it show.
After I opened my email today, I had gotten another 8 responses. I gave out an email address that can't be traced to me, and it filters out junk mail and gives you unlimited access of email names so you don't have to deal with bulk mailings, etc. So, if you're interested visit mailshell and sign up. Their slogan is "Get free 'Caller I.D.' for your email with Mailshell." (Sorry, cheap plug. I do that when I like a site or product).
Ah yes... back to the topic. I was really amazed at the turn-out. Granted I'm cheating the dating service by giving out an email address without paying for membership, but there was no other way to have trial members contactable (if that's a word) even for a short time period. I don't mind cheating them, because I have no money and it's not like I'm stealing. They are just providing me with a free service and I'm using it to the tilt.
I joined on Wednesday... the 28th, and by Thursday night, I had already received 3-4 emails. I guess it's nice to know that people could figure out my insanely cryptic email (I put it backwards) and decided to take my advice. I suggested that they email me. See, people can be smart. I have to tell myself that every once and awhile otherwise I will get even more reclusive (sp?).
Well, the whole point of this entry was to primarily talk about a guy named Ryan that I met. Too bad he's in CA. It would be nice to talk on the phone or just hang out with him. He reminds me of my friends back at Tech. Ohhh... how I miss them. It was nice to talk computery and intellectual again. Afterall, most of my conversations consist of baby-talk to Tierna Wear-na and Maxine-y-Meanie.
Wow...it's getting late...I should hit the hay.
Night,
