The place was kinda hidden, and it was very much like a bed and breakfast, but it didn't serve breakfast.
The most interesting part about the hotel was that during the entire stay, we never saw the owner. We, as in, myself, Mom, Glo, Sass, Brianna, or Grandma. Apparently, since the place was in such a small town (unincorporated, if I recall correctly), the owner didn't feel the need to lock the place up. Therefore, we just walked in, and our room keys were on the dressers.
After living in a city my entire life, it was weird NOT locking something. I guess it was a nice feeling, but I'm not entirely sure about that.
When I first walked into the upstairs room (the one that Mom and I shared), it was like walking into a regular hotel room. Then we walked further, into the second room... the suite. It was a kitchen! Then we walked into the next room. It was a sitting room, had a day bed and a cot and chairs all around. Then we walked to the last room. It was another normal looking hotel room. (The last two rooms were actually Sass and Bre's rooms). All in all, it was mighty impressive.
But perhaps the best part. No phones! No creditors calling! Ahh... finally! I got away from them! Ahh... *sigh*
How's that for relaxing? :)
