Left the house, headed to the bus depot.

2:25 pm

Arrived at the bus depot and got my bus pass. Going to ride for a bit now.

2:30 pm

Ride the downtown bus, head to the bank.

2:45 pm

Walk to the bus depot. I wait a short time until the busses start pulling in again.

3:15 pm

Arrive at Petco. (It's where the pets go.) I wander around for a VERY long time.

4:00 pm

Still walking around Petco. I love pet stores. I was watching the baby rats yawn, wake up, eat and fall back asleep. How cute is that?! I settle on getting some sale-priced Kaytee brand Honey Sticks for Tierna. (She's been good. She deserves a little extra something special). I have also noted how much travel cages cost.

4:15 pm

I realize I just missed the bus to head back, so I continue wandering around Petco. I walk near the pine bedding when I notice some canned cat food on sale. I get some more for Maxine. (She's almost out. Besides, Tierna gets to clean off the fork that I use to dish out Maxine's servings).

4:40 pm

I'm standing around reading a book about rats. So much information. I didn't want to put it down. I check my watch and realize I don't want to miss the bus again. I pay for my girls' things and walk out.

4:45 pm

As I just get to the stop, the bus is about a block away! Great timing. Finally :) I hop on and ride home.

5:15 pm

I switch busses and this super annoying guy starts talking to me. Ack! Why? I've asked this before, but I feel I need to ask again: Why am I so approachable? I wasn't smiling or even looking in his direction. He was one of those people that liked to hear the sound of his own voice. Double Ack!

5:30 pm

I get off at my stop and walk the 3 blocks home. Maxine practically attacks me when I walk inside because she has this abandonment issue. I feel sorry for her that she can't understand english (when I tell her I'm going to be gone a few hours).

5:35 pm

Maxine is petted, my mail is checked, Tierna is acknowledged, and I get a chance to rest. I'm starving so I call Mom to see if she's reheating the sloppy joe from the party. She's not, so I make my last pot pie.

7:00 pm

I've been sitting on my butt for the last hour and it feels good. I know I did enough walking today to burn off the calories consumed for today, so I feel good about that. Besides, I'm watching "The Mole 2" because Mom got me hooked on it last week. If you haven't checked it out already, you should give it a peek. It's on ABC Tuesdays at 9/8 Central.

What else to talk about today? Hmm... walking is good. Drugs are bad... mmm-kay?
