It was well over 90 degrees in my apartment (as my thermostat reading only goes to about 88, but the arrow was way past 88). You could barely breathe in my apartment. In fact, when Maxine walked in, so only made it to the doorway between the kitchen and the living room before she collasped. Poor kitty.
It took about 3 or 4 hours for the bedroom A/C to cool the humidity out and bring the temp to about 80 (I'm just guessing). In the meantime, I was laying on the floor, lowest activity level as I could be... and wondering why it could be so HOT here and not so hot in San Fran.
Enough about the heat-overload for now. I want to just touch base with the things that happened over my "vacation".
Hopefully, in the following days, I'll get a chance to write about these things. I will make a few quick comments, actually... on a few of them. ....
DDR is a PlayStation game that Ryan is obsessed with. I think it's ok, so we went to the arcade to play it (in addition to playing it at Tim and Sarah's house).
The movie, "Mr. Deeds" was very funny. But I could just be saying that because I think Adam Sandler is awesome. Who knows?! Either way, if you are in need for a good laugh (that is not really at anyone's expense), then go see Mr. Deeds.
Acorn, Ryan's friend, hosted Ryan's birthday party. (More on that and other things in a later entry).

Happy idea for today:
seeing your pets after being away from them for a week; and they are as
giddy as you are to see them
