The Mole 2

July 30, 2002 *

Tonight was going to be the episode we've all been waiting for. The tell-tale episode that would finally reveal Who The Mole Is.

But... we were having some major storms going through the area. So much so that the local channels, NBC, CBS, and ABC all were cutting through the regularly scheduled programming to blab about a few COUNTIES of tornado watches and T-storms. None of it pertained to my city, so I could have cared less if people from another town went a la Dorothy and Toto.

It was rounding near 8pm (when The Mole 2 starts) and those pesty meterologists kept on air blabbing about how it would all settle down by 8pm. So why the fuck weren't they off the air?!

Finally about 8:03, they got off so we could watch The Mole 2! I was so excited to see this episode that I really didn't want to have those weather warning announcements interrupting the show, let alone interrupting the bottom portion of the viewing screen. Damn those weather guys that like to hear their own voices.

The show had already started, and we had missed the instructions for the game they were playing, but we quickly caught on, since it had 3 rounds total and we joined it in the end of the first round. So... all was fine and dandy. Carisa wasn't too pissy.

Then right about the time they would start the second set of commercials the weather dude showed up again, and started circling stuff on the screen and then he started yakking with another meterologist that was "on location".

He then proceeded to cut into the air-time of The Mole 2. It was so annoying to not know what had just happened again, since every little thing helps you figure out who The Mole is. So, the episode continues. It's nearing closer and closer to the end.

Mom says she's going to scream if that meterologist interrupts the last 10 minutes of the show. I was hoping that the storm wouldn't make the power go out. That would have been just evil!

So as the tension builds, it's about 8:55pm, and guess who pops his "friendly" reminder to all of us that he likes to pretend he's Madden? Oh... that's right, our meterologist for ABC. Damn him! Luckily it's commercial time and he shuts his trap just in time for the show to get back.

It's running the credits!

NOOOOOOO!

Then after the credits are ran, we realize that next week is the season finale, and we didn't miss finding out who The Mole is. *wipes forehead*... ahh... *sigh of relief*

So, next week. We find out. I CAN'T wait!

Carisa
