On topic #4, I even did an ala Emergency Vets splint to help the injured phone cord. I thought duct tape was supposed to fix anything. When I tried dialing in again, it was obvious the surgery didn't work. So I tried again, but this time but snipping the frayed ends and realigning the new ends, put on splints and tried again. No such luck. So, I hope Dad can get me a cord from work or something because they cost $4.00 at Wal-mart and I don't have that sorta money!

On topic #5, I really didn't have any money to get fuel and the car was telling me not to do any highway driving, but I went ahead. One of these days I have to just get Baby some attention. Wash her, change her oil, and just take another peak under the hood. She's been starting kinda reluctantly lately, so my suspision (sp?) is that she is almost ready to be put out to pasture. :-( That's not a good thing. Although, she made it longer than what I had hoped already, so I guess she's served her time. It's always hard to say good-bye though.
