A couple nights ago, my mouse was killing the computer so frequently that I was ready to take the mouse down to the sidewalk and sledgehammer it! I was very pissed at the mouse. Ryan thankfully, calmed me down. I was very pissy, cranky, crabby, and enraged at that damn mouse.
All mouse talk aside, what else have I been up to, you ask? Ahh... that is simple... so simple, in fact, I can sum it up in one word:
Puzzles
Jigsaw puzzles to be exact. I've done so many lately that I've lost count. I still have 3 to go, so I best get crackin'. I finished one today that I started two days ago. That day, I had started and finished one in a matter of about 3 hours! The day before that, I had finished another one.... and so on. You get the idea.
I've spent many-a-hour lately doing puzzles. I must say, they are a good way to pass the time. For several reasons: they are cheap. They don't require much brain power. They have a nice product. They don't require any extra electricity to entertain you. All in all, they are the poor man's entertainment. I'm sure I'll get sick of them at some point, but that point isn't now... so I continue on.
I started them after the Rummage Sale in da U.P. eh. I got about 4 or 5 puzzles from Sass, and then the following weekend (and last weekend) Mom and I went rummage saling. I was mostly looking for more puzzles, and Mom for anything that could be put in Wire Whimsies.
Oh yeah! Speaking of rummage sales, we are having one on Sept. 14th with Mom's next door neighbor, Fran. Mom suspects that Fran has never had a rummage sale before, because she asks many questions on how to set up and advertise and the sorts.
I am going to try to sell my organ that I got from my dad's parents long long ago for X-mas. It's in excellent shape, but I just don't know how much to price it for. It works perfect and I've got music for it, but I don't use it and I don't forsee Mom using it, so I have no idea why we've kept it this long. Hmm... that was a tad of a run-on sentence, wasn't it now? So, if anyone has any suggestions on price, please send 'em my way.
My five year class reunion is coming up later this month, and I've decided to go to it. I just wish I didn't have to pay anything to go. I wonder how a few people are. Like Tina, is she still super friendly and a go-getter? Or Alex, did she let her hair grow out again? How about Corey, does she still model? What about Adam, is he still really buff? hehe And let's not forget Tom, is he going to show?
I'll find out soon enough, I'm sure.
As time draws closer and closer to the move week, I'm getting more and more antsy. I really wish it were here now so I could just have everything taken care of already and see Ryan again. And then again, I want to still be here and spend time with Mom and Mikey ... and *gasp* Teek. I should try to see Erich a few more times too. And even Dad. (Who invited me to watch the Packer game tomorrow night at his place).
I still have quite a few things to take care of, but I feel like I can manage them. Because I have a psuedo deadline, I will get things done. I know that sounds weird, but that's how I am. I need that little extra boost to get things going. *Sigh*.... me me me.
