Packing Day

I have just packed for college all of today. I am really exhausted. I was fortunate to talk to Travis via ICQ so we could more or less have some closing ICQ words. I felt relieved to talk to him. I had really missed him and I was getting concerned about what he was doing. Perhaps I have been thinking too much.

This is the worst part of my day, excluding the physical labor I have strained my insomniac-in-the-making body. I found out that my brakes would be costing me $210 to repair the back drums and ratchey things. (I still lack the terminalogy. Sorry).

In addition to forking out that huge chunk of money, I have found out that my windshield can't be replaced. I had gotten the money from my dad and went over to the dudes that sold me the car (part of the deal of purchasing the car). They told me that I was too late. I was pissed! I thought that they meant I wasn't going to be able to the windshield they told me I was going to get. They explained that the junkyard was closed after noon. I stopped by about 1pm! THANKS FOR FUCKING TELLING ME SOONER!

So, what could I do. I told them that I was leaving tomorrow and they said they could get the windshield on Monday. I told them that it was too late. Mom and Dad talked on the phone and came up with a plan. Mom was supposed to take me and my stuff to school in her car. Then next weekend, Dad and Mom would take separate cars (Dad's and mine). They would bring the rest of my shit along with a repaired windshield and wiring on my car (I hope.... *fingers still crossed* ).

Well, that was my day in a brief summary. I hope that you don't get too upset because starting in a week, I won't be able to update every day, but I will have entries for everyday. I just won't have PC access in a near vacinity (sp?). I won't forget to write...it will just be in spurts and it will probably much shoirter entries than today's.
