I finished my last minute packing and mom added those few things to the car. I wanted to say good-bye to Mikey and Penny. (Teek was being a bitch, like usual, so she didn't deserve a good-bye.) I held Mikey and talked softly to him, telling him how much I was going to miss him. He started purring and wanted to cuddle. What a sweet-heart! I started crying and he just wanted to noosh. He squirmed aournd and then got comfy and purred some more.
I let him down. I couldn't say anymore. So, I walked over to Penny. She was hyper and I sat down on the ground with her. She mauled me and then wanted to play. I just gave her a hug and told her I was leaving her life again. As suddenly as I showed up, I was exiting the same way. I felt sorry for her because she couldn't understand what I was saying.
Mom and I got in the car and started our trek. I slept a bit, but not restfully, like usual. Soon enough we were there. I went to the front desk and got my keys. I helped Mom unload part of the car and we set forth. My room was unoccupied. I was pumped! What if I get my own room again this year?! I will be excited about that! :-)
After we unpacked most of it, we went to eat at Perkins. It was shitty, like usual. I kept seeing people I had missed all summer long. It was nice to see familiar faces. People that wouldn't judge me because I was different or messed up in the head. It was reassuring that I had returned home safely.
