Chipmunks revisited

July 9, 2002 *

A few years back, while I was at college, I had a very unique experience. I had the opportunity to hand feed two wild chipmunks. I had been keeping my online journal at the time, so I wrote an entry about it. The only problem was... I didn't have proof.

I think it's a pretty unbelievable story, so I wouldn't be surprised if you thought I had made it up. Go ahead. Read the old entry. Then come back.

See what I mean by it doesn't sound too believable? But... but... it really did happen. And now... I have proof!

That's me, Troupe jacket and backpack, petting Skitter!

See how remarkable proof is? Well... see how important it is to remember after almost two years to contact the person that took the picture to see if they still had it?!
